I have absolutely NO, repeat NO, plans to go shopping at all.

Breakfast has been made and consumed, shower taken, house cleaned, pets fed and let out to do their thing.

Beer will be consumed later, with a possible poker tournament tonight.

And oh yeah--snow falling here, will be turning to sleet, then rain later today.  Hopefully the roads don't ice over.

I found several things that I could use or need and for gifts in the fliers from the Thursday paper. However, as usual, the US Govt has screwed me over because my disability hasn't been deposited yet. (It was supposed to have been deposited today) :( No money, no shoppy.....


I'm hoping that there will be some good sales after the first of the month....

I actually have the day off!  Which, I deserve.  I worked hard this week :)  Rainy here today which is relaxing.  I hope to hear some interesting black friday shopping stories later on :)

What the **** is WRONG with people that they'd stampede into a store and kill or injure someone in the process !?!?!?!

I never go shopping on Black Friday.  But I did buy a printer online last night from Best Buy.  Their online deals were already up.  I needed a printer anyways.

That.  Was.  HORRIBLE.

And my "shopping" this year is going to consist of the following:

--Buy cards.
--Buy cutesy address labels for cards/envelopes.
--Make donations to charity in the names of all those folks on my list.
--Send cards to people with notices donations have been made in their names.

That's what I can afford this year, and that's what they're going to get.  BS me if you think I'm being cheap, but I'm not all that loaded this year, and I think it's more appropriate.  I certainly wouldn't complain if someone did that for me.  I've no need of anything, really.

I'm using this day to fly home to Atlanta... I'm sitting here in DFW, using the free internet they provide.  :-)

My trip was much too short.  Luckily, I have an early Christmas present being shipped out in the next few days... thanks Dad.   I'll post a pic of it when I get home.  This computer terminal is awkward to use.  :hammer:

OMG--you're paying for one of THOSE?  Hell, more than 10 minutes on that thing and you could almost buy your own laptop or iPhone.

Just finished my turkey sammich for lunch, along with some greenbean casserole....yummy!

I MAY go shopping this evening, just to get everyone out of the house.  Looking for a new cell phone for the menfolk.


On the other hand, my sister and her husband are taking all six of their kids to the mall today.  Even after breaking his ankle last night, my BIL plans on going, on crutches.  Idiot!

I will probably venture out and do some looking around......It's a beautiful day here today and it would be a waste to spend it inside.  Tonight I'm going to start taking out Christmas decorations and will be putting a tree up this weekend, along with lights outside, etc....
I really do like this time of year, even though it can get hectic...I try not to get stressed out.

I've got a new tv coming.... That 26 inch LG flatscreen is as good as MINE!  :innocent:

4 hours on the road (after 3 hours in the air) was only survived thanks to my 6 disc cd changer and a lot of Blue Collar Comedy.  :lmao:
