I could so see my cats doing that!  They come running when the printer fires up, so they watch the paper come out.

We have thought about buying a Roomba just to see how our two cats would react to it.  It took them weeks just to adjust to the water dish that has bubbles in it.  Hell, my cat Lucy growls at any noise but then runs and hides under the bed. 

Silly, silly (but entertaining) cats!
