Early Thanksgiving Tidings!
« on: November 26, 2008, 11:02:58 AM »
I am coming to you live from Texas Stadium, to wish you a very happy early Thanksgiving!  I probably won't be online tomorrow (as I'll be at the game), hence the early greetings!

If you're watching the Cowboys game, be sure to check out the halftime production.  My firm produces the show........and please keep in mind that we don't get to pick the "talent".  :)  hehe

Anyway, Happy Turkey Day to all my new friends!!  I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

The broadcasters rarely show any half-time show, which pisses off this old band geek. I know the amount of work that goes into those shows. It seems that the announcers use half time as a time to update other football games or analyze the current one.

Happy Thanksgiving to you!  It is suppose to be cooler (68) and mostly cloudy tomorrow.  That there is Thanksgiving Weather!

We have friends who will be working Texas Stadium tomorrow.  It's really my wife's gig, but she subs it out.

"Eary"????

It is an archaic term popular in the late seventeenth - early eighteenth century.  It means "prior to the occasion".

LOL!  My family's still reeling from the Saints game, so now its the Cowboys turn to win, which they will.   (That LSU game, on the other hand...  :censored:   I lost a bet, and now I'm paying for it with the title underneath my avatar.  :bawl: )

Never admit to anyone here that you made a mistake.  Even if you have to make something up (most of them will buy it - sharp knives in drawers and all).

If you admit it, they'll see it as a weakness and be all over you like smell on a fresh turd.

Better?  Sheesh :)  lol

Don't sweat it Dee.  They constantly mock my inability to correctly spell the days of the week in thread titles written before the coffee has kicked in. The petty Philistines.

Happy Holiday and enjoy the game! :)

I'll keep an eye out for it.

I have my own firm that has made quite a few full length productions.  :naughty:

Two minutes and falling asleep after saying "doors over there" is not a full length production, Rob.

It counts for me.  :evillaugh:

It is an archaic spelling popular in the late seventeenth - early eighteenth century. It's a phonetic spelling of the word as it was pronounced by Irish emigrants trying to talk through hangover cotton mouth.  :innocent:

I'll be watching for sure.  My daddy raised his girl a Cowboy fan.  Thanksgiving just isn't right if you don't watch the game.
