Well, actually it's better than anything the Bostonian Drunkard or the American Nana primitive ever wrote.

Bankruptcy Haiku

Bill enjoys writing haiku as a release from the pressures of the bankruptcy law world. In keeping with the tradition of the great zen bankruptcy masters, please feel free to add to the chain by writing your own haiku in the comments section below.

****************

To write all weekend

But convey nothing. ‘Tis my

Disclosure statement

****************

Consumers suffer

But my main worry: How to

pronounce BAPCPA?

****************

Many times I hear

“Yes, I’m in bankruptcy.”

The joke grows old

****************

Indignation and

Litigation all for two

Cents on the dollar

****************

Soaring overhead

They gather in Bowling Green

To tear at the meat

****************

1. This can get addictive.

Corporate frenzy
Bosses stuffing their pockets
Workers only stuffed.

Stockholders get stiffed
Bosses get fat bonuses
Business as always

I made an oopsie!
Uncle Sugar save me now!
Screw the little folks.

7. EXCELLENT! We're forgotten in the good times, and pushed aside in the bad times!

Bad news is no news for us.

4. Here's mine...

Welfare? They give it
happily to bail out banks.
People? Not so much.

DUmmies/primitives:
society's leeches.
The dregs of humanity.

OR...

Magnificent desolation
within the DUmmie skull.
Where's the brain?

Damn, you're good, ChuckJ, sir.

Poetry's way out of the capabilities of this skull.

Thanks frank. What little ability I have in that area is due in small part to Odor Eaters and a fascination with Poe's "The Raven" and Frost's "Nothing Gold Can Stay"

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Small minded creatures,
They get so full of themselves,
When not full of hate.
“Sometimes the curses of the godless sound better than the hallelujahs of the pious.”
