I am SO stealing this idea.....

I was looking at "Rate My Space" on HGTV's website and saw this great idea that I am going to steal.  I am going to even steal the words she used and the font, I am so bad.   :evillaugh:  I don't have a skylight or an area similar to hers but I'm going to put it around the top of my walls all around my kitchen.

I have seen the "wall words and sayings" before but the way this lady did it looks so classic.  She said she painted the words but you can get them already done on several sites.  I don't know if I will order them or use a stencil like she did and paint them.  If I painted it myself then I could use any color I wanted.

That is so cool!  I wish I had that much space in my kitchen.

Ditto! Had it in Arizona and then moved to functional only kitchen world of the midwest... :bawl:

I've always liked those letters BEG...think they look really nice in any place I've seen them. I have a girlfriend who has them like that in her house--well they are on the fossets(spelling)

I have a friend that did it in her powder room.....her's was "a kiss is just a kiss". Her sink and toilet were black, the walls were stark white, and the lettering was black. She then took pictures of all her friends and family smooching....printed them in black and white and framed them in black. Did the pictures in all different sizes. Her towels were red and black and she had some other stuff in there that was red, black and clear crystals. (she's single)

It looked great and everyone always came out of the potty commenting about the pictures and wanting theirs up on the wall if they weren't already.

It would look better with sides of beef hanging from it.

My mom has something similar.  They're not painted, but she has these carved wooden signs that she hung up in her kitchen.  'CAFE' and 'BISTRO', things like that.  And you don't have to paint over them later.

BEG, I wish my kitchen was half the size of the one in the pic.  It's a very cute idea and I can totally picture that in your kitchen.
