3. I posted this yesterday...you may like it considering your title
A twelve year old speaking to the UN about the condition of our world.
Favorite line: You adults don't know how to fix these things, so quit breaking them.
About the time my 12 year old said that to me (or any adult if I was in hearing range) he'd be sent to his room...right after I told him if he was so smart he might as well go out and get a job and apartment in the morning. I wouldn't want to stifle his creativity and problem solving ability by weighing him down with silly little rules...like treating adults with respect.
Oh, and about kids speaking the truth, over the years I've heard such gems as "we weren't kicking the ball in the house", (while a soccer ball rested amidst what was left of a lamp I'd just bought a few days before); "I don't know how the kool-aid got on the hall rug" (in our house, Jesus may walk on water but, evidently kool-aid can fly), and "I didn't hit my brother on purpose, my hand has a mind of its own". I think libs see such truch in children because their thoughts are just as simplistic.
