Right now, water.  In approximately an hour and a half, Miller Lite.

What's the difference?

Evening everyone. My sister, BIL, and two rugrat nephews just left my apartment. We consumed lasagna, salad, some terrible garlic bread, and a fantastic apple pear crisp for dessert. The adults also indulged in wine of which I am still consuming. I don't see any point in wasting the rest. I will have no problem finishing it off.  :-)

I have Tropic Thunder and am considering watching that tonight. But I don't know yet.

Glad you had a good time with the family.

And one can never let wine go to waste.  :)

Red Stripe is okay for marinating cocktail shrimp.  Other than that, I haven't found a use for it.

They charge $9 for a Red Stripe at Chase Field on game days. I'm not proud to know this.  :-)

Well, lemme see...this morning after work I had a 1/2 gallon growler of Moat Mountain Apfel Beer, and tomorrow after I get home I'll likely have the other growler of Smoke House Porter.  They do all their own brewing, and since I don't get up to Conway very much, I enjoy it while I can.

Failing that, there's Sam Adams, Red Hook, and the occasional Arrogant Bastard if/when I can get it.  I actually try seasonal beers too.  Summer is always good for Sammy's Cherry Wheat, and Long Trail Blackbeary Wheat rocks, along with Shock Top.

But soon I'll be switching over to some winter beers like Sam's Winter Lager and some local stuff I found (Shipyard Brewery out of Portland ROCKS).  While I used to get a lot of Sierra Nevada and Anchor Steam, not so much now that I'm on the East Coast.

So no, I'm not a big fan of the "fizzy yellow piss water".

I actually prefer Fat Tire or Shiner Bock, but Saturday night is community beer.  You bring a 12-pack and everyone shares.

One of the reasons why when I go out or hang out with a group of beer drinkers it's the one time I'll buy the variety packs of beer.  There's something in it for everyone.  Otherwise I pick only the ones I know I'll like.  I'm not big on the IPA's for some reason, even though I like strong beer.

Hilarious.  Love it :)    I enjoy the Sam Adams winter lager.
