As I monitor reich wing talk radio, a meme that has surfaced recently, and seems to be spreading from show to show is the meme that this is now Obama's recession, because the stock market has dropped so drastically, since becoming elected. This is the problem with the hate filled right wing bullshit that passes for discourse and permeates the airwaves. Too many idiots soak up the propaganda.


There is no depth that these people will reach, when reaching to affix blame for the last eight years of failed policies.

I see DUmmie Joe gets upset when the truth is presented and he can't do anything about it.

It was liberal Dems that relaxed the lending standards at Fannie and Freddie which caused this current recession.  The people with money know it, and they will vote in the manner in which they invest accordingly.

After the democrats took control of congress in 06 I knew bad things were coming. To think that the Speaker of the House was formerly a socialist democrat before becoming the minority leader sent shivers up and down my spine.  I sold completely out of the stock market by June 07 and while I missed some gains I also missed all the losses.

Yes this stock sell off is because the socialists...not democrats... are in power and wherever or whenever socialists have been in control the economy fails.  As the socialists start talking about how good it will be for the people to have the government control 401Ks and IRAs the market will tank further.  Before it hits fevered pitch I will be liquidating mine and talking the hit on penalties because having some of my money will be better than having none.

I took twenty thousand out of my wife's 401K this month.  I will take another twenty thousand out in January.  That will leave about fifty thousand in there.  I'll get that out in 2010.  The "takeover" won't happen before then.

So they'd become "mainstreamed" into general society.

This happened circa 1979-1980, exactly those years.

Well, by January 20, 1981, it was obvious, the effects of this do-goodism.

And according to the Democrats, liberals, and pre-primitives, it was Ronald Reagan's fault, even though he'd been president only three or four minutes by then.

If today's primitives still persist--which they of course do--in blaming Reagan for the homeless, we can feel free as birds to blame the Big Zero for the looming recession.

I fully intend to blame Obama - He ran on hope, change and the ability to fix Americas woes - I also blame him for not leading congress to action during this crisis - what does he do instead ? He resigns. Sooner than anyone in history BTW - I wonder why that is ?

He can't vote present, so he is going to vote absent instead.
