San Jose, CA area: We're looking for a small house to move to our land.

800 sq ft or thereabouts and ASAP!

Maybe Doug's ex-wife is thinking about putting up the bobbling primitive?

1. Why not just build it?

4. Time sensitive. We have a loan that depends on finding a house to move or putting in a modular.

7. I've rented about five of those houses. They were great.

But the City of San Jose decided to 'go green' and tears them all down, refuses to allow them to be stored on blocks anywhere. It's kind of crazy because it's not certain by any means that tearing them down and dumping the trash into landfill IS 'greener' than reusing them.

I hope the bobbling primitive sees this, even though it's a month and a half old.

I realize we are observing primitives here but wouldn`t the modular home thing be the first and only place to look if time somehow were an issue?
To find, purchase, secure a moving crew at their schedule, the site work at both places and the raw logistics of moving a house would take quite a while longer I would guess.

Something tells me the real purpose for the thread was to do a greenbriar and let everyone know that it was going to have a second house on its property.

Still the stupidest person on the internet I see.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Who has just bought a new refridgerator? sfexpat2000 wants the box it came in.

Makes me wonder what the rest of the story is.

Sounds like some new regulations are going to come into play .... like making folks build green or something.  Something that is going to require MORE money to use your land in the near future BUT if you have an existing structure on the property it will be grandfathered.

I'll be there is more to the story.

It's from a primitive on Skins's island.

There always is more to a primitive story.
