The eagerly anticipated Star Trek film is set to cast off the geeky associations of the sci-fi genre with a handsome cast, vicious fights and sex scenes.A trailer for the new movie was released online on Monday, no doubt fuelling the excitement of Trekkies around the world ahead of the film's release next year. The fast-paced trailer include snippets of the childhoods of Captain James T Kirk (Chris Pine) and Mr Spock (Zachary Quinto), lending an insight to the men they grow up to become. The trailer starts with a speeding Corvette going through the desert being pursued by a mysterious driver on a hovering motorbike contraption. The car goes flying off the side of a canyon, leaving the young driver - too young to have a licence - hanging off the side, clinging on for dear life. The pursuing driver, who appears to be a robot, steps off his bike and asks the youngster: 'What is your name?'The brazen boy replies: 'My name is James Tiberius Kirk.'... ...

I admit that I'm a Trekkie. So I will definitely see the movie.I just hope it doesn't suck. Look what happened with "Speed Racer". BTW, I thought Vulcans didn't lose their temper. And I also thought that Kirk didn't serve on Enterprise until he was Captain. Humm...And waddup with Kirk tapping dat azz on Uhura? Do we really need to see that?
oh noes! scary alien picture!!

If you where a true trekkie, you'd know that Spock was half Vulcan half Human. Making it easier for him to lose control now and again. And given how big of a douche Kirk is, I'm sure theres been a time or two that he's had to woop some ass.
I'm a big fan of the Star Trek genre... but don't get me going about Captains who know how to do everything... ****ing Katherine "Why do I need a crew when I know everything, and can do everything" Janeway...
I never liked her. That show only got going after they brought in Jerri Ryan.
Drool!!!
Cat suit and high heels. Yes, please.
