My daughter's art....
« on: November 13, 2008, 09:13:06 AM »
My daughter (she just turned 15) had to do some art for a contest at school and they had a trial run.  She did this in like 30 minutes.  She doesn't know what she is going to do for the "real" contest yet.

My other daughter (the 9 year old) entered a contest at school for Christmas cards.  If she wins her picture gets to be on the front of a card.  She did a snowman and she did a lot of shading on it.  I was so impressed and it looked so professional.  I didn't get a chance to scan it in before she turned it in.  My kids are so talented, if I do say so myself.   :p

Great job! It would make a darling Christmas card.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Good job.

That's lovely.  Maybe she'd like to be a children's book illustrator.  Good luck with the art contest.

Nice photo...something I'd buy for a Christmas card if the bear wasn't so melancholic.  Nice, nonetheless though.

My son drew a picture of himself in school.  He looked just like Leather Face from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  That bear is so beautiful.  I would love to have that framed!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
