Another hero lost

Another upside to the election is that the DUmmies may learn that Jon Stewart is a COMEDIAN, not a real news anchor.

The Daily Show is a COMEDY show, not the nightly news.

Jon Stewart is going to go after whoever is in charge.  That's what he does as a comedian.

Those jokes were cheap and horrible. I had just re-watched Obama's speech from last night and was so moved - crying again because of everything that happened and the fact that we have a fighting chance again. I made the mistake of watching the daily show to see lame attempts at making fun of the whole thing.

I was glad to hear the audience was with me on this. I want a few days to be inspired an happy, not hear smirky jokes about William Ayers.

The staff has to do better than this -- now that Bush is gone, the material is not going to write itself anymore.

Stick with making fun of CNN for a few days, please.

Sorry, but the race card doesn't work anymore. Blacks have obtained the highest office in the land so the idea that a black individual is the victim of a national effort of racism is a moot point now. This is one of the positives of this administration upcoming. It seriously weakens the race card when its thrown for any little thing or the bellyaching of opportunity and access.

That was one of my first thoughts .... I'm already waiting to pull that one out.  I'm so sick of it being an issue it's the one thing I'm finding that I like about this outcome ..... believe me, I'll use it!  No excuses now other than just plain whiney gimme-ism.
