Republican holds seat in Georgia U.S. Senate raceWASHINGTON, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Incumbent Sen. Saxby Chambliss won the U.S. Senate election in Georgia on Tuesday, an important victory for Republicans against a strong Democratic challenge, Fox News projected.Chambliss, who was elected to the Senate in 2002, defeated Democratic challenger Jim Martin, a former state representative. Chambliss will win on a recount. I know several conservatives that voted for Buckley due to Chambliss's bailout vote. They will vote Chambliss again the Dem.
