No matter what happens, it has been a fun ride.

Some election-eve inspiration music.

H5 for "my friends".  :-)
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

I share with all of you my favorite song when I would like to mellow.  The skater is sort of incidental.  It was just the best YT version I could find

Ok, I was in that movie when I was 15 years old. I swear.  :evillaugh:

I even shot the shit with Robbie Benson (leading male). Since we were filming while school was in session, I was doing homework during the downtime. I was reading Of Mice and Men and he and I discussed the genius that is Steinbeck. I impressed the hell out of him, the chick was sooooo jealous.  :rotf:

I believe you and is that so wild!!

We are in touch on a super-supra-fantasmagorical level.

I never saw the movie -- I was just thinking of that song and looking or a good YT rendition.

But as far as the lead being a typical movie lead -- no great surprise.  I lived in Malibu for quite some time and saw both types of stars -- the cool ones and the stuck up one.  Guess what -- the cooll ones GENERALLY were secure in themselves and their careers.
