OK, so what are your plans for tomorrow night?
« on: November 03, 2008, 05:28:51 PM »
I'm off at 3:30 Central time. First, I'm voting. Afterwards, I was planning a pizza and hanging out here with the TV in the background.
BUT
Now I'm thinking of eating out: a steak dinner, and then coming back to watch history with you all.

So what are you doing (and whats on the menu) for one of the most important votes in history?

Preparing for the worst, hoping for the best and lots of prayer.

I'm getting off work early and going to a friend's house to watch the returns.  On the menu:  beer.   :cheersmate:

I hope to be doing my happy dance.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

I'll be around and following the results on FNC. I think it's going to be a long night.

I'm going to vote sometime during the day, and then mostly hang around the internet.

Given that I'm working off a crippled temporary computer, my supermole on Skins's island has to lay low, in case the elusive enigmatic Elad catches it, and so I'm depending on others here to give us the primitive reactions.

Voting tomorrow afternoon, then football practice, etc.   Once the kids are in bed, I may turn on the TV and check in here.

After I vote tomorrow I'm gonna come back to my place,
turn off the lights, sit on the front porch, and see what happens.

And I'm going to pray.

I'm going to try to turn in early tonight so I can glue myself to the 'puter tomorrow night.

I need beer.

Voting tomorrow....think I will make some comfort food, turn on the TV, have a book handy to read, and eating lots of chocolate.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

"My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far I've finished two bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already." – Dave Barry

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.

Honestly I do not know.

I will check the results from time to time and pray.

Oh and I am going to try to ignore all of the election stuff until around midnight.  I am also hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.  No matter what life will go on as usual on Wed.

I'll check in on the elections stuff from time to time, but with all the fraud going on from the ACORN's of the world, etc... I expect that we'll have disputes and other assorted problems and won't know the winner until maybe Wednesday, if not longer.  So I'll find a game to watch, or a movie, something like that.

I'll get off work at about six tomorrow and drag my son, an Obama supporter, with me to the polls. Then like all of you, watch the fireworks on my big screen TV!  :-)

Most likely here. Like Mia and Schade, with beer.  :cheersmate:
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

Keeping an eye on Fox News and teh innerwebz. Either "celebration drinking" or "drowning my sorrows drinking".

I would have answered the same as BadCat, but I'm not a procrastinator. My guns were cleaned and my mags loaded days ago. :-)

Starting at 4:30, and ending at 6:30, I'll be outside with a large McCain/Palin sign amongst my fellow activist Rethugs, trying to get out the vote for the right candidate.

After that, I intend to purchase a 12 pack of Blue Moon and hang out online.  :cheersmate:
