LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. -- "Hey folks, 37 more hours!"

Joe Biden greeted a crowd primed for the home stretch of this long campaign with as much energy as he's had in the last two months on the trail as well as some typical Bidenese.

Telling voters in this swing state that "change is on the way," the Democratic vice presidential candidate offered one of his now-expected random introductory tangents.

The latest was about his sister, Val, his wife Jill, and Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill, who introduced the Bidens at the rally of 1,100 people in the gym at Longview Community College.

Biden called his sister a "girl-boy," meaning a tomboy, and then explained that girl-boys are softer than "girl-girls."

"You know why I think Jill likes Claire McCaskill so well, Senator McCaskill? Jill is one of five sisters, Claire is one of three sisters. And I tell you what, you women raised with sisters are different than women raised with brothers," Biden said as both women joined him on stage.

"My sister is smart, runs every one of my campaigns; is beautiful; graduated with honors from college; is homecoming queen. But she's a ... she is what I call a 'girl-boy' growing up, you know what I mean?"

"And I tell you what? Girl-girls are tougher than girl-boys," he said. "But there's one important thing I noticed.The great thing about marrying into a family with five sisters, there's always one that loves you. 'Cause you can count on splitting them a bit. You know what I mean?

"I shouldn't be going off like this, but -- hey, folks, 37 more hours, 37 more hours," he then said.

I've never heard a tom-boy called a girl-boy, but I've heard the term girly-man before.  I think AhNold wanted to use it when talking about Obama.

While I was sitting at Finance today growing more and more pissed at the situation, I had to deal with Joe on tv making that speech.  I listened to him for about 10 minutes, and I don't think he said a single thing of substance the entire time.

I did here him say "It's time for change" though.  Like every other sentence.

I'm really starting to think that it might be time to look for some Dain Brammage related to Biden's former surgeries. He really seems to be incapable of knowing when to shut his trap.

People are afraid of Sarah Palin because of inexperience - Imagine Biden once he is privy to state secrets. Now that's scary.

I can't figure out what O/B voters are thinking with, but it's obviously not their brains.  If they could think they'd be unable to understand WTH he's talking about most of the time. 

Did Biden's medical records address his gaffomania and the cause?

Fox showed a "snippet" of him last night on one of those "final interviews before election day"....he said "I'm ready to be president.....or vice president if elected."

My first thought was.....hmmmm, expecting something to happen to Obama? :uhsure:

the prospect of losing both houses of congress didn't have me thinking suicidal thoughts in the last midterms because I knew that pelosi and reid were incompetent to the point of actually being entertaining.  biden will likely be the only funny spot in a hypothetical obama administration.
