Even if we are supposed to have sun and high temps today.

I got TWO whole hours of sleep last night and am going to pour myself back into bed and get at least four more here this morning now that the kids are both off to school.

Here in WV it's MoNday!   Mr Flame is back at work after having last week off, and I am again home all alone.  Not sure what I'm going to do today...might just do nothing!

Supposed to be beautiful today...low 60's for a high, and mid 60's for the rest of the week.  Maybe I'll go take the pups for a walk.

Just dance tonight, so it's a quiet day!

Bright and sunny here.....supposed to be in the low 70's all week.

Went to the Dollar Tree yesterday...I love that store. :hyper: So much to find and everything is $1. Lots of stuff for Christmas. I do gift baskets of food for some and found some cute Christmas baggies - 25 for $1, and red platters for cookies and stuff.

Working on 2 reports today. Chase is doing a 90 day moratorium on foreclosures....they are going to be helping people rework their mortgages. Reduce interest rates, extend the length of the mortgage, etc. I'm hoping I will be doing a whole bunch of reports over the next 90 days.

My eye still sucks.  I am on 60 mg of prednisone and having side effects.  I am a complete bitch.  I haven't been out of the house but a couple of hours total over the past week and I am miserable.  I have spent the great majority of time in my room.  I took myself down 20 mg to 40 mg today because of the damn side effects.  My stomach hurts and feels like I'm an Ethiopian child.  I haven't gained any weight or anything like that yet from the prednisone but I can feel it making me into a bitch and I can't control it.  My heart is constantly racing.   I have to use the pred forte drops in my eye every hour and because of those drops my upper eye lid droops (side effect from the pred forte) and then because I have to dilate my eye 4 times a day my eye looks like a fake eyeball.  The droopy lid only adds to that effect.  I have missed three parties over the past two weeks because of this crap. 

I called the doctor today and they have no appointments to get me in before thursday (my regular appt).  I'm waiting for a call back to talk to someone about the amount of prednisone I am taking.

That sucks.  I do hope it clears up soon, you must be having a miserable time of it. :(

I am a complete bitch so I don't want to talk to anyone I want to remain friends with. My family has to love me so I will talk to them.  My Mom just called and I started bawling for no reason...I am a mess.  My husband just just left for El Segundo until Wednesday.  He took last week off because he has an abundance of vacation and needed to use some of it up.  I think he was secretly glad I wasn't doing well (not happy I was sick but happy I was otherwise incapacitated) because he got to work on his '53 Chevy truck all week.  

I'm pretty sure my eye is doing better because I can stand to watch more TV and be on the computer for longer periods of time.  I went last week with my husband to vote and had to keep my sunglasses on.  Everyone was looking at me really weird so I had to make a comment on why I was wearing them.  I feel like every time I go anywhere I need to explain to people what is wrong with my eye and why it looks so strange.  My Mom called and wanted to take me to Wal-Mart to get a few things and I don't want to go so I told her  no.  She is going to get me some things I need and bring them to me.  I can tell she doesn't know what to say to me.

I haven't been on steroids for years and I forgot how hard it was initially to start them at such a high dose.  It really is messing with my sanity.

Ahh, Monday.  Just the usual work business so far today.  I laid down last night for a little nap around 6pm and I didn't get up until 5:30 this morning!  I was just so exhausted.  Tonight I have to do a bit of house cleaning, since I didn't do it last night.  Plus, I need to work a little later tonight, I want to be able to take off by 6:30 tomorrow night. 



BEG, I'm sorry to hear that you're still not healing up as fast as you want to.

BEG....I am soooo sorry you are having such a tough time with your eye and the prednisone. Last time I took it for bronchitis, I had to take 21 pills the first 3 days.....I totally understand the bitchy and crying...you just have no control over it. Drink lots of water, and try to cut down on the salty stuff to keep you flushed and not retain so much fluid. Chocolate is necessary......<<<<<hugs>>>>>
