Izzat a whippet?
No, it's a lab puppy, at least we seem to think that's what she is. We call her "Whitey". She adopted us recently. She was apparently abused, as she was scared to death of any human, primarily men, for the first month or so she started hanging around. She'll come to me and my girlfriend, but that's about it. The cat is named Leo and showed up around the same time. He's been a little more friendly. I'm pretty sure some city folk dumped them off near here. There was another white lab, an older one, that seems to have disappeared.
