Seeing as he still works and has had a pretty big hit playing Johnny Cash in Walk the Line in 2006, and that he is very young for a male actor, 34, this is a bit of a shocker. I think it's a bad move since it makes him look foolish if this 2nd career fails and he wishes to return to acting which as a male actor even if he doesn't return for 10 years in his 40's, he would still be able have a long career. Bit of foolish permanence on his part. I wish him well either way. I thought he was a good actor who took roles that really were well suited to his talents. I think that of Robert Downey Jr though too and could kick his ass for losing so many years of his career due to a drug addiction--dumb ass!
