Help keep America beautiful...deface a liberal.

The Democrat and Republican parties are simply the left and right wings of the same bird of prey.

The road to freedom is paved with dead liberals.

I agree. Back in 2000 I was ready to take to the streets with a pitchfork as Gore and his lawyers were attempting to steal the election.

Daley is predicting  one million people will turn out for Obama's victory party. I think everyone can draw their own conclusions about how that will turn out.

I dunno, BadCat, sir.

Of course I'm not in the entire country, to see what's going on everywhere.

In my neck of the woods, er, the prairies, we're all laid-back, relaxed, and mellow, and whatever happens, we'll be watching, as if it's a show on television.

If there is no reconciliation after this election, the Democrats, liberals, and primitives have only themselves to blame--they started it after the humiliating defeat of the Incompetent One in 1980, destroying all civil discourse, and they've been carrying it on since then with passion and vigor.

I used to think that it was good that Republicans and conservatives always took a more healing, a more conciliatory, way with our opponents--making us look like statesmen among barbarians--but to be honest, now, really, I don't care any more.

This is never going to be over until the last hippie is dead, one hopes from natural causes but if not, it's probably the hippie's fault anyway, so no big deal.

I've been hearing this a lot lately.  The country is clearly torn in two.  There will be no reconciliation by either side after this election, no matter the results.  The two idiot skinheads they caught yesterday could have started it, and would have.

I think the country is on a dangerous precipice right now.

What say you?

The libtards will "march" when they lose.  Then they will find the downside of opposing the 2nd Amendment (outside of D.C).  Places that don't have robust 2nd Amendment support will find that the minorities will destroy their own neighborhoods, like in all the prior "riots."  By now, the cops have learned to just stay the hell out and let them burn themselves down.

There will be NO riots in Marin County, King County, Montgomery County, nor Manhattan. Just pictures of hands and/or crying boo-hoo-villelites.

I'm going to be in my bunker next week. :-) The D.C. area is already all a twitterpated.

I don't know what's going to happen but it will rival 2000/2004.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

2004 will be a forgotten shadow if Obama looses.  2000 might come close.

I'm in a remote enough area that I should be safe. However, there is a fairly heavy Obama supporting population and some of them are radical enough to start some BS. It'll be a guess as to what happens here.

Here in Austin, it's an island of blue amidst a sea of red.  I'm on the outskirts, and will keep away from the center of town until well after the fires (both real and emotional) die down.  If I have to go into town, I'll try not to park in public.

I should add, my McCain/Palin sticker sits right next to my NRA and TSRA Life Member stickers...
Those who see their lives as spoiled and wasted crave equality and fraternity more than they do freedom. If they clamor for freedom, it is but freedom to establish equality and uniformity. The passion for equality is partly a passion for anonymity: to be one thread of the many which make up a tunic; one thread not distinguishable from the others. No one can then point us out, measure us against others and expose our inferiority.

ok.. who is using Badcat's account??

there was no cussing, no ripping of leftie heads and pee'ing down their throat in the OP... i call shenanigans..

as for what say I? i think McCain has it to walk across the aisle and that is a plus AND a minus to a lot of conservatives. Obama has no such ability and will probably make the country even more polarized once he starts in on his programs and taxing plans.

well, dont count out King County just yet... we have a lot of kids/adult hippies here who love to burn things down and judges who dont seem to mind that.

remember, our WTO rioters won a million dollar settlement with the city.  :banghead:

It's just getting started. One attempt ,even if it fails could send enough people off the cliff to start something that may make the first Civil War look like a Sunday picnic. Every riot in this country during the 60's, 70's and later started with only a small incident.

Those were Portland imports. KC democrats are pussies -- I was there and can tell you they were shivering in their rented apartments (since no one can actually afford to own in KC).

If Obama loses, urban freeloaders will riot, not revolt.  Reaction to this will actually stifle any impulse to revolt among rank and file Dems, though the true idiots will think it is Der Tag.

If Obama wins (there will still be some rioting in his urban constituencies, but they'll be celebratory riots, yay!), it's very unlikely there would be a single, key unifying event that would bring out a revolution on the right, short of outlawing opposition parties, confiscatory 'Land reform,' or something of the sort.  Harsh and punitive gun laws are not going to bring on a revolt, but will involve a lot of noncompliance and nonenforcement.
