this will help.  ohio is pulling out all of the stops.  the next thing a federal judge will say is that dead people can vote if they have been dead less than 5 years.

Judge rules Ohio homeless voters may list park benches as addresses

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A federal judge in Ohio has ruled that counties must allow homeless voters to list park benches and other locations that aren't buildings as their addresses.

U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus also ruled that provisional ballots can't be invalidated because of poll worker errors.

Monday's ruling resolved the final two pieces of a settlement between the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless and Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner.

The coalition agreed to drop a constitutional challenge to Ohio's voter identification law until after the Nov. 4 election. In return, Brunner and the coalition agreed on procedures to verify provisional ballots across all Ohio counties.

The coalition was concerned that unequal treatment of provisional ballots would disenfranchise some voters.

How can you register to vote without a valid mailing address?  Are the mailmen now required to deliver mail to park benches?

Guess they'll have a hell of a time getting those ol' voter registration cards, unless the USPS lets them get sent to "General Delivery" or the homeless dude has a PO box.

I think they are going to get one of those notorious "provisional" ballots that aren't very provisional in ohio.

Probably safer than delivering mail in Chicago.  :p

Wow and how does the 'esteemed' judge suppose that these individuals will be able to vote in local elections when it can't even be determined what district they are living in today? But of course we all know what judge sargus wants is to help Ohio go for Barack. The sad thing about it is that the original numbers must have been so strong for McCain here that they felt all this fraud and smoke and mirrors necessary.

BTW, the 'esteemed' judge's political donations from the 80's and 90's...gasp, not a one for an R and several beyond individual candidates and for the Democrat party itself:rotf: God, these people are so transparent

Do homeless Americans not have the right to vote?

If they can positively identify themselves as citizens and can identify their home district -- sure.

Or maybe I come drifting into your town and vote as John Q. Asshat because I can.

It's becoming a real embarrassment to live in Ohio.

I suspect that's what they have in mind. Vote early, vote often from bench #9.  :whatever:
