CAN THEY ALL BE WRONG?

To answer the question, yes, yes they can.

We all know that Drudge loves to break the big news. I think he has caught wind of a substantial amount of polling data that shows McCain even or in front of Obama...... your theories?

I'm growing weary of Drudge these days. I don't know if I'm just burnt out on politics in general or if Drudge is a little more annoying than normal.

Drudge likes to use CAPITALIZED BOLD LETTERING, sometimes even in RED, to incite an emotion in his readers.

I've fallen for it twice this month.

The first time was when he "broke" the story that the Washington Times was going to post an exclusive article about Obama's meetings with leaders in Iraq. It turns out that was just a rehash of a story from a couple of months ago.

Then last week he posts the "shocking" story of a McCain volunteer who was branded by an Obama volunteer. Well, we all know how that turned out.

So I don't know what he's thinking with his newest headline. I've given up trying to figure out the polls. The only one that matters is on November 4th. I keep praying for a miracle and hoping that the American people are smart enough to not fall for the media's cheap tricks.

I'm sort of to the point where I just ignore him. He seems to be reaching hard to find a story.

When is the last time Drudge broke something??
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

I know what you mean, there have been quite a few times we have been told something big will break, even from McCain's own campaign..... and then it's just a fizzler.

Just another week, come on kids !

He has been pretty keen on looking for things that run contrary in the faux polling.  I really do think things are quite a bit closer than they appear.  I may not get the McCain landslide I thought would happen (since the friggin idiot just would not beat Obama with a truth bat as he should) but I think the taxes thing is starting to stick thanks to a plumber who made a fool of the messiah.
My fellow Americans, there is nothing audacious about hope. Hope is what makes people buy lottery tickets instead of paying the bills. Hope is for the old gals feeding the slots in Atlantic City. It destroys the inner-city kid who quits school because he hopes he'll be a world-famous recording artist.

What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?

One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

The other kills her own food.

Com'on!  Matt's love/hate relationship with the MSM is legendary.  He is trying to embarrass them.  It will work, too.

Just about everyone knows McCain has this election in the bag.  No one can lie Obama into a win.  Not at this point or ever.  No half-black half-white socialist liberal with the most appalling voting record in history, and who has NEVER won a legitimate election is going to win this one.  They don't have enough dead folks to make it to the polls.  This muslim freak from Africa is HISTORY.  They know it.  We know it. The MSM will not, until puke comes to bowels, admit it. That is their nature.

Obama hasn't a chance.  The fake world is trying to gin up a reason and a riot to boot.

The most lovely thing about next Tuesday is the fact that we can stop hearing about this jerk.  If I never hear that overly practiced voice or see that pussified face again will be too soon.  Obamo is about as gay as Elton John.

I hope you are right.  Your descriptions of Obama are pretty funny AND true.  I hear that voice or see that face and I can't watch.

I actually agree with  you.  I'd bet half the moonbats who rah rah for him, won't get up in the morning to vote.  By the time they climb out of bed and get to their favorite intersection, make enough for a bus ride, the polling station will be closed and McCain would have already won the election.  :-)

The 2001 radio piece was posted on FR, who in turn slammed Drudge with emails to run with it.  He did, and that is how the MSM picked it up.

Drudge has his purpose, and it is a useful one.

And now there's that little problem of him saying...on tape...that the Constitution is "flawed".

Anyone here wonder if the DUmmies are paying attention to what the people THEY support as those best able to run this country are doing to everyday citizens?

Are they that far morphed into Sheeple that they fail to realize that a political force that willdo that to it's enemies will do it to it's defenders as well?

Especially given Os history of pushing inconvenient people under a bus?  Dont they recognize that they are first under the bus?    If they are so into Hitler analogies, they had better not forget before there was kristalnacht, there was the Rhome purge.   (And with Obama the Hitler analogies really do fit)

I dont know what to think this year.  I live in an area that is so heavily into Obama as to make me personally very nervous about what kind of people my neighbors are.  This election gives me a really sick feeling.

It dosnt help that the stock market goes down every single day.

Even though I voted for him, I dont like McCain much. Like I said at the time it feels like I am voting for von Papen rather than Hitler.  Obama storm troopers really are committed out there.

I've seen very few signs for either campaign on private property here, but lots of Obeyme signs on the frontage of union halls.

I've been wondering if it takes just one Obeyme sign to turn a neighborhood.  Just a theory, but if one Obeyme sign pops up, do others become afraid of reprisals if they don't fall into line?

I dunno. I've seen plenty of "ObeyMe" (I love that by the way, hi5 to BM for that) signs here in The Heights, but neighbors with post Palin-McCain signs next door or across the street, but I'm pretty sure the latter would be gun owners and maybe the lemmings of the Obamafurhen know that and won't try nothing.

And Thundley... love the sign there. Almost as good as this one I did see on a fence in a McCain supporter's yard last week.
