Obama Lead Drops to 5 Points - Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby

New Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll here.

Another day, another drop in numbers for The One. Seems another organization is waking up to their 'wrongness' in polling.
In a way, this is good for us, all of these polls shifting away from Barack, even though he is still in the lead, creates a momentum narrative, which gives hope to McCain/Palin supporters.

Obama Lead Drops to 5 Points

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama's lead over Republican rival John McCain has dropped to 5 points, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Sunday.

Obama leads McCain by 49 percent to 44 percent among likely U.S. voters in the daily tracking poll, which has a margin of error of 2.9 points. Obama's lead has dropped over the last three days after hitting a high of 12 points on Thursday.

"Things are trending back for McCain. His numbers are rising and Obama's are dropping on a daily basis. There seems to be a direct correlation between this and McCain talking about the economy," pollster John Zogby said.

Obama, 47, took the lead in most national polls in recent weeks as the financial crisis and plunging stock market seized center stage ahead of the November 4 election.

Obama only leads a couple points above the margin of error. What I'd really LOVE to know is how the hell this can be... from the actual Zogby International site:

How can someone who claims to be "conservative" vote for the most socialist candidate we've seen since Mondale?

Let's see. 1. I have no idea why the white shoe wearing country club type Republicans would want a guy in there you know for damn sure is going to raise taxes on them (hell, Obama voted to raise them for families making over 42K a year) 2. The PaulTards are just DUers trying to wrap themselves in the Constitution and knowing them, they'll be too damn high to remember what day is Election Day. 3. The race thing.... I don't know. I mean, I've wondered about this issue. I've argued with several people about Obama, and one black woman I work with when debated about this, can only say "You just don't wanna see a black man as president". Now, if it's all about race... what the hell happened to Lynn Swann's candidacy in PA or Michael Steele's, etc.?  Really makes me wonder.
