Is the current arrangement in regard to oil revenue being used in lieu of taxation voluntary on the part of all parties involved? That is to say, is it the result of a contractual agreement?
If so, then it isn't socialism, it's the price of doing business.
Many object to socialism because they feel it is inefficient and/or unworkable. I hold that this is irrelevant, that socialism is objectionable because of the very coercion which, as far as I am aware, the aforementioned Alaskan model does not depend upon, but European socialism does.
If I'm wrong, on the other hand, then the idiot libtard does have a point I think.
