This is my first post to this site, after holding it in for the last few months...and I am finally saying it. I have never seen such hypocrisy from a political party in my life. The lies and half-truths and distortions...it is amazing.

If Obama and his family had 1/4 the incidents that the McCain campaign has had, the assault from the GOP would be massive.

* Imagine if it was found out that the DNC had spent $150,000 on clothes for Michelle Obama? Instead, we get a hug *shoulder-shrug* and they say they are donating it to charity, so it doesn't count.

* Imagine if Obama had a 17 year-old, unwed, pregnant daughter up on stage and was shaking hands with an 18-year old black "gansta" who is dropping out of high school? Imagine the assualt from the GOP! Instead we get praise about how Christian those "darn" kids are since they plan to get married! You Betcha!

* Imagine if Obama's wife was a secessionist, such as Palin's husband is? Say she wanted Illinois to seceed from the union... Can you imagine FOX with THAT headline? Instead, we barely hear a thing about it.

I could go on, but you get the point. Like I said, I very rarely post political comments like this, but these last few weeks have just been mind-blowing to me. I had to say something.

Oh, one more thing...why is it that Obama is getting hit by Palin on his "re-distribution of wealth" comment, when she herself created a large tax on oil companies in Alaska, then with that money sent every Alaskan citizen a $2300 check? Isn't THAT "re-distribution of wealth--also known as socialism"? Any neo-con(men) want to answer that one?

And after all the effort at dirt-digging and mud-slinging by liberals and their friends in the press, McCain is still neck-and-neck in many polls.

Nice try.

The whole post is lies but one of them you will have to explain to me;

Quote

Imagine the assualt from the GOP! Instead we get praise about how Christian those "darn" kids are since they plan to get married! You Betcha!

Uhm ...... did I miss something?  I could have sworn Levi was a white dude but then again ..... I'm not racist so maybe I wasn't paying enough attention.

I think the libs at USMB might actually be nuttier!  :rotf:

But DU has that special kind of stupid.  I'll bet USMB doesn't have an UndergroundPanther, TomInTib, or the drunken NanceGreggs.

Reading that site reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine found another group of friends that was a carbon copy of Jerry, George, and Cramer.

Well DU has shown the airlock to a great deal of their former residents for just such a reason. Most I think have managed to get back on the ship.
