Hmmm . . . maybe someone in the Dems' Senators' offices ordered this?  Or in Obama's campaign?

Government computers used to find information on Joe the Plumber

Investigators trying to determine whether access was illegal

The Columbus Dispatch

"State and local officials are investigating if state and law-enforcement computer systems were illegally accessed when they were tapped for personal information about "Joe the Plumber."

Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher became part of the national political lexicon Oct. 15 when Republican presidential candidate John McCain mentioned him frequently during his final debate with Democrat Barack Obama.

The 34-year-old from the Toledo suburb of Holland is held out by McCain as an example of an American who would be harmed by Obama's tax proposals.

Public records requested by The Dispatch disclose that information on Wurzelbacher's driver's license or his sport-utility vehicle was pulled from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles database three times shortly after the debate.

Information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department.

We all know that this is probably likely. Nothing will be done about it because the Dems are without fault....... or readily forgiven for their crimes   :whatever:

We should be hearing the condemnation of this incident from the Obama camp any minute now....yup...any minute.

Probably low level abuse by county employees reading for their own amusement.

But it does fit the Obamafurers MO pretty neatly.    He no longer needs to order this done, but it gets done quickly for him none the less.

I work in a big bank, and we have lots of hollywood types with accounts there.  (I have had reason to access a few of them myself)   If you access the account of a person with sufficient notoriety at the bank, you get a phone call from information security asking why.   And you had better have a good reason for accessing the information you looked at.    In my case I was working Currency Transaction Reporting, and the hollywood types had withdrawn large sums of money so it was part of my job to look at those accounts.  But if you look at one of them without reason, according to the employee manual, they will terminate you and turn you over for prosecution.

I worked for the LA Dept of Revenue. We could not give out any information regarding another taxpayer or corporation. I know of one case where a woman got fired because she made the mistake of telling the Judge how much her ex reported on his state income tax return.

OK, I'll see what I can do. Anything for the Obamassiah.

It's only dirty tricks when the Republicans do it. If the Dims do it, then it is just uncovering the facts.
