:whatever:

Thank you Mr. Contrarian.

John Edwards $400 freaking haircut never led off the nightly news.  In fact if it wasn't for political websites...I'd would have NEVER known about it at all.

So to say they are the same damn thing is just crap on your part.

Britt Hume will discuss pretty much anything that is circulating on the internet during his show, its SOP. - And a story showing up on any of the cable news outlets is not the same as print media or any of the networks who still broadcast over the air.

I have sent his staff emails about various stuff for his grapevine segment, and they seem to listen.  he carried the 72 raisins story when no one knew about it . . .

Not a selective memory you idiot apologist troll.

Where was it on NBC CBS CNN was it above the fold in the NY Slimes or USA Today?

Was Keith OVerbite and Tweety Matthews falling all over themselves to report it?

Go ask some stranger on the street which they've heard more about...Palin's alleged 150K wardrobe or Edwards' $400 haircut.

After you spend the majority of your time explaining to this person what the HELL you're talking about with Edwards...get abck to me.

Well, anything that Sarah wears is more interesting and important than what Obama says.   I find him very boring.  Sarah in a dress is never boring.

Of course, Obama changes what he says more often than Sarah changes her clothes.   Maybe five times a day for him vs 3 times a day for her.

As far as the Media attention.....   There are two things the media dosn t want you to know about.  Sarah Palins message being the more important, and Obamas message coming in a close second.

$50K for clothes for her and her family to borrow.   They have to change clothes how many times per day?   The RNC paid for the clothes, not the McCain campaign as was the case for pretty boy Edwards and Hillary Clinton, which is of course the difference here.

What is being lost here is that Sarah and her family clearly needed appropriate clothes to wear, unlike Obama and Biden whose closets are already stocked with designer suits.

Twist and shout people.   Throw some chum in the water and watch the leftists circle the boat hungry for more.

Pathetic really.

What he said.

If Palin had been Governor of Alaska for 35 years or was worth millions of dollars thanks to Chicago political connections, she might have as many pantsuits as Hillary, but I doubt it.

I thought this was interesting, from that article:

But, but, but...I thought the Obamasiah's were for keeping jobs in America. What's this about Bitchelle supporting/buying dresses from a designer who is known for outsourcing her work to India?

I'm shocked. SHOCKED I tell ya'.

:rotf: :lmao:

CLICKY

Hearing of the Palin wardrobe malfunction of sorts, Michelle dresses down to J Crew and insists that's what she wears to Jay Leno, pff... you can buy this stuff online even!

Oh my... how quick we exchange the $5k dresses for $50 blouses  :thatsright:  That's just pathetic

I'm glad someone else has noticed how quickly Michelle has switched from designer duds to off the rack at JCrew and White House/Black Market (which has some nice things - I have a few).

One important thing that has been overlooked in all of this.....is that while $150k was INITIALLY spent....a lot of it went back.

Someone or someones went shopping for the Palin family....WITHOUT any of the Palins along on the shopping trip.

Those someones went in and grabbed all kinds of outfits and the accessories...shoes, earrings, etc. for each family member.

In order to take the items out of the stores...THEY HAD TO BE PAID FOR!!! Imagine that :thatsright:

Once the Palins tried on the clothes.....thousands upon thousands of dollars of clothes were RETURNED!!! I read somewhere that more than $75k was returned immediately after the family tried on the clothes.

I worked for Talbot's years ago when I was first divorced, and many many women will buy clothes, take them home, try them on.....and then return what doesn't fit or look good on. I, myself....detest trying on clothes and rarely will do it at the store....even swimsuits. There are several brands that I can buy and I just get my size and know they will fit....such as the jeans I get at Walmart or Sams.

As long as the tags are on, the item hasn't been worn, have the receipt, and the return is within the store's time limit (it's on the receipt)...I don't know of any store that won't take the return and credit the amount back to the credit card or return the cash. It's easier to return if purchase was on a credit/debit card or cash. Most stores are "funny" about returns on a check.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

"My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far I've finished two bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already." – Dave Barry

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.
