Husb2Sparkly (1000+ posts) Thu Oct-23-08 04:52 PMOriginal message A mugging with a political bent - (this is NOT a nice story at all) Just reported on MSNBC by Melissa Rayberger (sp??)A young woman took time off from college and was working for the McCain campaign (I think in NC). She was walking back to her car and stopped at an ATM. A mugger comes up and wielding a knife, takes her money.Somehow he notices her McCain bumper sticker. He goes back to her and, with the knife, carves a "B" on her cheek. The story was reported by saying the "B" somehow was intended to stand for "Barack".The woman is reported to be on her way to a full recovery...................This is so ****ed up on so many levels.

And, how does this woman know what set the guy off? Maybe it was because he wanted $100 and not the $60 she gave him. This story, and Drudge who first reported it, sucks.
