What's the waiting period for gun purchases again?  And how long does it take to complete a gun safety/training course?

Jinx, MN has no waiting period for rifles or shotguns. Handguns and "assault weapons" require a permit to purchase obtained from your local PD or Sheriff.  Also, it's possible that this act was done by a pellet gun, which anybody over 18 can purchase.

A great site for you, Jinx, would be http://www.twincitiescarry.com or http://www.mnguntalk.com

Thanks.  I shouldn't have to worry about anything where I live, but it's nice to know I can quickly get something if something wicked this way comes.
