6. Actually, what she's wearing is a traditional Inupiat dress. Which is rather interesting...

When I lived in Alaska, I don't recall very many white women wearing this style. But maybe it's because Todd Palin is part Alaska Native (I don't know whether he's of Inupiat or Yupik heritage -- the two main groups of Alaskan so-called "eskimos").

14. Here's a link to a photo of some Inupiat youngsters showing some of the girls in that kind of dress:

(I've been madly searching for a site that would mention the name of that garment -- I used to know it, dammit!)

Don't worry too much, DUmp, just because you hate Palin enough to slam Native American culture is no reason to feel stupid.   :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

^Ouch :-) Right on the money sir.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Good move DUmmies, playing fashion police with a woman who recently gave birth will win over on one.

What is funny is that the DUmmies don't even realize how totally owned they are by Sarah Palin. :lmao:

Oh, man, that's ear-to-ear grin material, I haven't seen pwnage like that without immediate bannage since forever!  And to think I almost passed it by, figuring it was just some stupid permutation of this week's fashion-assassin nonstory.

I think we have all some of the DUmp pix threads....
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
