And so my inevitable question to the doubters, the worriers, here.

Why is Sarah Palin spending time and money and hopes in a blue state?

Perhaps because the McCain campaign knows something the mainstream media won't tell us?

be sure and take note of what she's wearing.  that's all that the MSM can talk about today;  her wardrobe, and what it cost, and who paid for it.  her clothing has gotten more scrutiny than BHO's ridiculously absurd and implausible policies or questionable associations.  or the identity of his donors.  or his "immediate bankruptcy" tax plan.  or his post-primary hypocrisy.  hell, than anything having to do with him, for that matter.

the MSM is pushing us to elect a big question mark* to the highest office in the land.

Leave HOURS earlier than you think you need to.  I went to a McCain/Palin rally in Virginia Beach, left my house 4 hours before the event began (30 minute drive) and arrived two minutes before the start time, standing so far back I couldn't see the stage, and could BARELY see the overhead screen.  I had to use far-away overflow parking and stand in the longest line I've ever seen.  (remember security - pack light)

I encountered a few amazingly ballsy women who just pushed in front of people for a better spot, and one really annoying guy who insisted on clapping with his hands raised high above his head, blocking my view of anything.

Other than that, it was a great event, even if I only could HEAR it.  Have fun!

The part that sucks is that I will be right by the event area while I volunteer at the Rep. Victory Center tomorrow.  I have to come home to pick up my kids though and I will lose my parking space. :bawl:  I have seriously been considering calling a cab.

I had to go over just now and get the tickets.  Great news, not only is there virtually no parking but they have one lane on both sides of the highway closed going there.  Traffic was backed up for miles today, I can't even imagine how bad it will be tomorrow. :hammer:

It's a once in a lifetime thing, if there's a hotel nearby take a room and have the kids there.

And of course no body ever asked John Kerry where the money for his clothes came from back in 04.

Yahoo News has three stories about Palin 'dragging down' McCain *eyeroll* on their home page. Ugh. I'm so ready for the election to be over.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Yeah, but wouldn't it have been great if it was directed at some liberal moonbat shouting at her mother. :rocker2:

I am sad. :bawl:  I can't go after all. :bawl:  There is no way I can go and do the 2349423 other things I am required to do. :bawl:  I gave my tickets away to someone who could definitely go. :bawl:  I know I am going to regret this for a long long time.
