How dumb is Sarah Palin -Claims The Vice President Is ‘In Charge Of The U.S. Senate’

http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/21/palin-vp-senate /

<snip>

Yesterday, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) sat for an interview with KUSA, an NBC affiliate in Colorado. In response to a question sent to the network by a third grader at a local elementary school about what the Vice President does, Palin erroneously argued that the Vice President is “in charge of the United States Senate“:

Q: Brandon Garcia wants to know, “What does the Vice President do?”

PALIN: That’s something that Piper would ask me! … hey’re in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom.

A simplistic answer, but not a necessarily wrong answer; remember, she's answering the question of an 8-year-old.....which is about five years above the cerebral age of most primitives.

9. Gov. Palin needs to be Impeached, now!!!

At the very least, Alaskans need to mount a Recall Petition & toss her out. She is corrupt & inept. She is unfit to be Gov., much less VP or possibly Pres. of the USA..

She obviously has not read the US Constitution.

If not reading the U.S. Constitution is some sort of high crime or misdemeanor, 99.9% of the primitives on Skins's island would be in prison.

The first among them Pedro Picasso, who gets the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution and the Democrat Party Platform and the Communist Manifesto all confused, thinking they're the same thing.

Tweety says she has not read the constitution - hahahahahahahha

Pat says she's talking to second graders. Tweety replies she sounds like a second grader.

2. She does not know basic Civics.

She filled out a questionnaire at a Governors' conference and wrote that if the word "God" was good enough for the Founding Fathers to put in the Pledge of Allegiance, it was good enough for her. The woman has a 10 cent brain.

Most primitives, if given a few million more brain-cells, would advance to half-wit.

4. Does anyone have any insight as to what they have planned regarding THAT idea?

I'm assuming they think they would be able to control the senate - absent a majority or even 40 seats.

How would that work in their little pea-brains?

Oh, I dunno.

I think there's going to be some surprises in the congressional races.

5. She hinted that she felt that way in her debate..

There was a lot of fun made of her over that at the time. Apparently she hasn't learned a thing since then..Joe Biden told her in no uncertain terms the ONLY thing the VP does in the Senate is cast a tie breaking vote...He was quite emphatic about it ands yet she persists...I think there may really be something wrong with her mentally..

Projection, projection, projection.....

10. And that's the problem

She's proud of her ignorance.

Wow.

Do they make projectors as big as that telescope on Mount Polaris or Hyde Park or whatever it is, out there in California?

14. What a sociopath.

"That’s something that Piper would ask me!"

Is that the only function of that kid? To protect her from criticism? As a way to insult people's intelligence or maturity?

There is something seriously wrong with this woman--she's a sociopath.

16. Yeah, she is a Sociopath, an ignorant, arrogant one.

Alaskans should be highly mortified at who they chose as Gov.

McLame said that she is qualified to be Pres. He has proven to America that he is an arrogant Asshole, a freakin' liar & a dishonorable person, not fit to be Pres. either.

17. She couldn't pass a freshman history course.

But 99.9% of the primitives couldn't pass a kindergarten history course.

You know, all of this is very telling.

If the Big Zero and the transplanted one already have it in the bag, as the primitives, especially the Obamaite primitives, seem to think, why all this squibble-squabbling about Sarah Palin, since she's going to be history in two weeks anyway?

I suspect something's slowly dawning on the primitives, and the Obamaite primitives.

The VP is of course President of the Senate, a largely ceremonial role which only comes into real play to break a deadlocked vote.

Of course.

But when any of your sons were 8 years old, I'm sure you didn't couch your answer to them in those complicated terms.

Historically the role of the office of VP has modified at least a few times.  The current incarnation is actually from the Carter/Mondale administration, it is in no way set in stone that it remain that way.  Historically, the VP has at times been more active in the Senate.  What may be actually being said is that a McCain/Palin administration would see the VP take on that more traditional aspect.

It wouldn't be a bad thing.

Of course, DUmmies necessarily don't know anything about anything.  It's becoming a prerequisite over there.

FFS, read the damn Constitution DUmbasses.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Oh, indeed.  It just appears that she apparently knows more about Civics than do the self-styled 99th-percentile geniuses at DU.
