Morning fellow Cave dwellers!

Pretty nice fall day outside.  The trees are just about at their peak for colors.  We are heading out tomorrow morning for the weekend to go up to Door County for a weekend at a resort place on the lake.  Pretty trees, apples and smoked fish and a lot of pool and hot tub.

My wife, this angel who I clearly do not deserve, is working at home today and did kiddie wrangling and let me sleep till 8:30. :)

I just filed a case with the District Attorney on a prolific motorcycle thief that was running a chop-shop out of his house. Later I'm teaching Motorcycle Theft Investigation to a bunch of Patrolmen. Then it's off to a small local police department to identify a V.I.N.-flipped truck that they can't identify. Other than that, typical paper-jockeying as usual. Nothing fun on the agenda for today. Only 9 more weeks and I'm back in the monkey-suit working a beat. Being a Detective has been fun, but I'm ready to work the streets again and not have my cell phone blowing up at all hours of the night.

Spent another day making more dang apples...I think we are up to close to 1300 for the week.  Bad thing is, we only have about 250 set back to sell at the Apple Festival this weekend.  Good thing, that means all the others have been SOLD.  Bad thing...means we probably have to go and make more tomorrow.  Can you believe I'm sick of the smell of chocolate?

Tonight is football and dance.

Oh, and I found out today the girls are dancing in the Christmas parade in town this year, too.  Yay.

I had an algebra exam this morning.  I think I did pretty well, but I'll see what happens when I finally find out my grade.

Sigh, I was supposed to design my own letter head for my fictitious dealership and I totally forgot.  :thatsright:   Hopefully in a little bit I'll be caught up enough with my work that I can do it quickly and email it in. 

I'm just really tired today.  It's all overcast outside and there's a slight chill.

Hum, I don't know if that would go over so well.  I'm actually having difficult coming up with a dealership name.  I don't know what brand I should sell.  I was thinking of using "_______'s Motorsports" but I think that too inclined for motorcycles.  Maybe something like "________'s Toyota"?  Why is this so hard to come up with??? :(

Got back from my trip to Newnan a couple hours ago with a pair of replacement calipers and brake hoses.  The guy I bought them from had an awesome 1982 CB900. 

The rain got nasty as the sun was going down.  I'm glad I'm back indoors.

Door County, or almost any place in WI is awesome in the fall...so much color.

A good friend of mine has a vacation home on Washington Island. It never worked out that I could go with.  :bawl:

After a day that went by very quickly at work, I spent some time in the pool, hot tub and sauna, all while doing laundry.

I just found out that I am also working Saturday, no big deal.  One coworkers 11 year old little brother was riding his bike in Las Vegas and hit by a car, he died. Another semi-retired coworker and his wife were parked along a highway in CA, and a tractor trailer that was doing 55 MPH slammed into their very nice RV...his wife was standing up when they were hit....she is not doing very good..she is around 70 years old and they are raising a 13 year old grandson...they need lots of prayers.

The girl that lost her brother, is also pregnant, right after the memorial service she ended up in the hospital and will be off a few more weeks, but looks like all is good with the baby to be!
