So, the restaurant owner came out. Obama asked him, "How's business?" The owner talks about how it's not doing so well; his customers can't afford to go out to eat right now. Obama says, "So, who's been in charge of the White House for the last 8 yrs? Who's been in charge of Congress for 6 of the last 8 yrs? That was the Republicans, wasn't it?" Restaurant owner agrees that it was. Obama says "Doesn't banging your head against the wall like that get tiring after a while?" (or something like that) The restaurant owner says, "You have a point."

Do they ever wonder why the owner/boss/guy doing the best for himself is the always the republican?

It's not a great bouncy.   One speechless converted republican, but no cops in the bushes.  I believe it actually happened about as much as I believe all the DU bouncies.
