Seriously, I am going to Orlando with my family (leaving this Thursday 10/16).

Besides the theme parks...... Where to go? What to see? The kids are 16, 14, and 9.

I was expecting something from mA. 

I have no idea what's in Florida besides large reptiles and the Magical Kingdom.

I will cry myself to sleep every night until your return. 

I have no idea what there's to do out there.  I've only been to Orlando once, and I was 3.  :)  We did go to Cape Canaveral.

Agreed - Cape Canaveral is fantastic!!!  If you can afford the premium tour, do it.  If not, the standard tour is pretty cool.

On the way to the Cape, there is a really neat little airplane museum on the way -- check it out if you get a few minutes.

I called ahead and they tell me that Kissimmee, FLA has access to the interwebz.  So, we expect to hear from you with fun and cool reports from time to time.

If you see a short bald guy in his 30's with glasses and an attitude you might have just run into my friend Grant who is also in Orlando as of today. He went to visit a long time friend of his that he hasn't seen in some years but they kept in touch on line. I have met her,a great person.

Anyway other then the theme parks I have no ideawhat else is there but if you can afford it I'd say check out the Kennedy Space center and of course the beaches in the area. Actually the beach sounds like the most pleasant. Truth be told, I am not looking forward to a lot of theme parks.  :uhsure:

If you do Epcot, make sure you do the Mission to Mars ride (Advanced Version). The g-forces will make your face look like Nancy Pelosi's, but it'll go back to normal once the ride stops. :-)

I'm really fond of Sea World.  :-)

Kids would probably like Universal as much or more than DisneyWorld. Mine liked lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe.

If you can get the kids up and out.....go in the morning, come back and lay around the pool...go back in the evening and stay until close. You will miss the hot part of the day, and enjoy it more at night.

Not really. He might actually figure it out . We have done things like that to each other from time to time. Mostly its been all me though.
