Sunday, Bloody Sunday
« on: October 12, 2008, 10:11:07 AM »
No particular reason, just felt like it.

So far today:

--5 mile run.
--Vacuumed house, cleaned kitchen and downstairs bath.
--Cooked/ate/cleaned up from breakfast.
--Setting up to put winter fertilizer on lawn.

So much for day of rest.

I haven't done a single thing today.

I'll eventually get around to doing laundry and dishes, and some more work on the bike.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

They have.  Bump-fighter, tis called.  First saw it when I was in boot camp and EVERYONE, including African-American guys, were required to shave daily.  Burns like a mother, so I'm told.

You do NOT want to use it, trust me.

Back from the autism walk! woot!

Taking a little break to study and upload some pics. Pictures to be taken of a senior later(senior as in teenager graduating) and the kids can play at the park while that's going on. I have a crap load of work to catch up on with school. Gotta find some time for that too.

A cold snap here.

In Southern Nevada, anything below 80 they consider cold.  :thatsright:

After spending a good part of the day with a female friend, I stopped at a casino last night for some alone time. I left with this:

Had a lazy day today.  Slept in, had lunch and went to Costco with my mom.  Took a relative to the airport, so they could leave their car at home.  On my way back, since traffic was bad on I-85, I stopped in at Best Buy to pick up an O.A.R. cd, and looked over the LCD tvs.  Saw one that I'd love to have, but am still looking around at others:

Slept late....almost til 11.

Had to go do a cash for keys about an hour away. Was a beautiful day for a drive.

Anyone want a lovely hilltop retreat less than a half mile from a public boat dock on one of the beautiful TVA lakes...Lake Tellicao? 'Bout 2000 sqft, 2 car garage, 3 br/3ba on 5.85 acres of woods?

Did 2 drivebys on the way home and we stopped at IHOP....had a crepe filled with this cream cheese goop and cinnamon apple pie filling and pecans. Sure it was a gazillion calories....but they were delicious!!!

Have to get 2 reports done and all the pics from the mountaintop retreat uploaded tonight and get a contract ready for a 9:30 meeting in the morning.

When does the family get back home?

They wandered in around 4:30.

Kids are watching Madegaskar and my wife is getting caught up on her emails.

Everyone has Happy Tum. :-)

Nice TV, the one that I already have, is about 4 inches too wide for my built in entertainment center. Worked out great at my place in IL, not so great here. I really don't want to tear up the wall...so I will eventually buy one a little smaller...has to be 32 or smaller it looks like...which is still nice sized.

Cool, a Royal!

The only Royal I ever hit was with two wild cards, so it only paid $40...but I still freaked when I hit it!
