U.S. Removes North Korea From Terrorism List
Saturday, October 11, 2008

DEVELOPING: Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has signed a document that removes North Korea from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, FOX News confirmed Saturday.

This action came as North Korea agreed to the conditions of every nuclear inspection demand the Bush administration has sought. North Korea has agreed to immediately begin disabling the Yongbyon nuclear facility, and allow inspectors back in.

Winter is coming.  Somebody needs some cheap rice.

I heard earlier that this was in the works but there was a problem getting Japan on-board.  N. Korea used to kidnap Japs and they were never seen again?

Perhaps there is proof that Kim Jong Il is dead and this is the result?

I suspect he is at least mostly dead. -- A story of Terrorism state removal accompanied by a couple of undated seemingly irrelevant photos ? Something isn't right.

I think the USA sees an opportunity to push the country toward the friendly column in a way that doesn't result in revolution/military coup.
