Sleepin' in Saturday!

I'm just about to turn in for some sleep.

I watched a movie called "Revolver" with Jason Statham that not only sucked it blew! What an AWFUL movie. 

I'm going to stack some Z's and try to decide what to do with the day later on.  I think a trip to the range may be in order.

Back to bed soon but not for sleeping.  Wife said deep foggy morning here, why not take a blue pill!!

I don't like sleeping in, not that my kids would let either of us anyway. I did the alternative and went to bed early.

There's a lot to do today...too much to list and I'll still feel like I got nothing accomplished even after it's all said and done. Happy Saturday.

I slept in until 0920 after 8 hrs of severely broken sleep. Today, I start on a 12' x 24' awning over the deck.

I slept in too and think I knocked the cold idea out of my head.....headache's almost gone and I'm not coughing as much.

Beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Doing some laundry and going to evil WalMart in a little while. My M&M stock is low...and I'm gettin' tense about it. :o

It's 80 degrees here today!  :o

Sunshine a-go-go.

I killed 8 yellow jackets in the freaking house when I got up that were NOT here last night.  Between that and the various other critters we have been battling I think I am calling an exterminator.

Back from the Georgia Aquarium.  That was LOADS of fun, especially seeing the 4 whale sharks, as well as the beluga whales (Nico the beluga was flirting with the female belugas while we watched... someone next to me actually thought it was going to turn porno. "This isn't mating season, is it?!"  :o :mental: :lmao:)


They're getting DOLPHINS in 2010, and folks will get the opportunity to swim with them.  I am definitely going back to the aquarium when that happens!  :-)

Spent the morning at the dance studio, helping the seamstress do costume fittings for Nutcracker.  Left there at 2, and went to watch some of my 13 yr olds baseball game (last of the season).  Came home at 3ish, and have been doing various things since then getting my daughter ready for homecoming (nails, hair, minor dress alterations, etc).   Waiting for her to do her makeup and finish her hair, and then I'll take pictures.

Tomorrow is a football game at 2, and then possibly dinner at a friend's house.

Monday starts my week from hell....dance company is making 1500 gourmet caramel/chocolate apples.

Another tiresome day at work.  At least it's Saturday, and the supervisors don't care if you play Solitare.

Well, got about a third to half of the new veranda/ awning completed. Sorry, no pics. Tomorrow will hopefully find it all finished except for the shingles. Rafters, sheathing are left to be done and a little joist work to frame around a tree. Headers, posts and half the joists are completed and the deck has been restored to better shape than when we started.

The belugas were also performing what I thought of as water ballet...they would swim towards the glass window, then flip around  simultaneously.    :o :)
