Why is it Funktastic?

Well, A) because it's Friday. B) Because the kids gots no school today and I just got up a half hour ago. Finally C) The whole clan MINUS me is going away for the entire weekend to an obscure inlaw wedding up north and for the next two days it is just me and an empty house!  :yahoo:

And middle aged party monster that I am I am going to get my groove thing on and... Shampoo the carpets tonight with the steam vac.  :p
And watch a lot of loud movies. Or maybe just sit in a quiet house and read. *wootage*

Weather so nice it ought to be a crime through Sunday.  Warm but not too warm, a little scattered clouds.

I may haul out some shooting irons and hit the rifle range at some point.

What's cooking with Y'all today?

I'm having an okay day so far.  A co-worker made a super douche move and I find it hilarious that his stupidity is so deep.  :wink:

We're going to lunch today at The Cheesecake Factory for a co-worker's birthday. Free lunch!  w00t!

Going to the lake this weekend. The lunar tables say the biting should be average to good. The fall lake transistion is just now starting here and the fish are fattening up for the winter. Need to get some YUM! and punch bait at Academy. Gonna watch the game tommorrow, also.

Working my off Friday...9 hours of OT.  Still have 3 days left and don't have to be at work until 2 PM Tuesday (swing shift next week).

Many dead mammals will be sacrificed on my grill this weekend.

Did 4 reports between 8 and 2 today.....at least they are done. Still have 2 more to do, but haven't taken the pix yet.

Talked to my niece on the phone last night from 11-2am. After we straightened out all the world problems - except politics...she's a Democrat ( :hammer:)....I worked for another hour....while one of the cat's decided to chew on stuff all over my office. 2 of the cats have a thing for paper or plastic-y stuff that makes noise. One was attacking a wrapper from an inkjet cartridge and the other decided to chew on the edge of a ream of paper. Both of them will take stuff out of the wastebasket to play with.  :mental: I don't know why I bother to buy them toys. So at 3....I was awake.... :thatsright:

Started a new book....Brad Thor's The First Commandment. Weather is supposed to be be-you-ti-ful this weekend...low 80's and sunny. Probably the last weekend for the pool. Georgia's going to kick our collective tushies tomorrow.   :censored:

OMG the Cheesecake Factory is freaking awesome.  I've only been there one other time and it was over 5 years ago.

Anywho, I had this delicious spicy chipotle chicken pasta for lunch.  I die!  And the lunch serving was huge so I have dinner too.

THEN I got a slice of banana cream cheesecake.  I DIE!  I also have half that for dinner too.

I'm running out to the temple of evil consumerism (Walmart) to do my rethug part in crippling small town America's businesses and keeping sweat shop workers in 3rd world nations in chains.

Well, seeing as I just showed up, I've been out of the house since about 9am this morning. Workout, then hit a couple of thrift stores, Kroger's, and then to get kids. Got one more kid on the way in a few and then we are going to the Halloween store :bow: I've been running all day and I'm beat! Kids are having kid fare tonight since it is just me and them--hotdogs, mac and cheese, etc. I think we might eat outside...it's lovely out and expected to be that way through my walk on Sunday--woohoo! Gotta get some schoolwork done but that should be possible because Ryan's 'autismness' showed through last night and he was up since 2am and the 'baby' has a cold and has been running with me all day so he's starting to tire out. I'm hoping to get them both in bed and asleep by 730/8 given those circumstances--woooohooooo!  :cheersmate:

I think while they are awake we'll attempt getting the rest of the Halloween decs out too.

That's all...just going to read a bit here until the other kiddo gets home.

Down sick at home with a sore throat and chest cold.

Add to that the weather is supposed to be mixed rain and (possibly) snow, and I guess I'm stuck in the house reading Porter Rockwell, and watching for the news reports of jumpers bailing out of the stock market mess.

Okay, I'm in Atlanta now, and spent most of the time with my family.  Arrived here at 2 am and went straight to bed. Went to lunch, then went to vote.  There were a LOT of early voters.  However, it's not that much different, numbers-wise, from 2004.  Voted for Palin and that old dude she's running with.  :p  Also voted to keep John "FairTax" Linder in office. ;)   

Went ahead and requested that some of my college fund be sold to get money out for next semester, as I already did my calculations on what I'll need.

Tomorrow, we're off to the Georgia Aquarium.   :cheersmate:

Got up this morning, got the kids off to school.

Then proceeded to (with the help of Mr Flame) give all six kitties baths.  Also did one of the dog, but the other has to be done outside with the hose, and it was too chilly this morning for that.   My house reeks of cloves now, since I used a natural type shampoo with clove and peppermint oils in it.

Then we went to the neighboring town and went out for lunch (at Chili's), and did some window shopping.

Picked the kids up from school because my daughter was bringing a friend home.

Baseball practice later, then we are all going to the homecoming football game this evening.

Had a 2 hr nap and the headache's still there..... :(   The other half has had the crud all week .....I don't have time for it. :censored:

Lug-nut.....leaves are changing all around here and really falling. SO's been out with the blower and also mowing them into the yard. Not going to PF this weekend, but am going over near Tellico Lake to do a cash for keys. SO is going with me. We were going tomorrow, but maybe will switch it to Sunday and have lunch over there somewhere. It's supposed to be a beautiful day. It's about 40 so miles away.
