That's a clip from Howards sterns show. They did find one guy that was going to vote for McCain & they switched Ideologies around on him too.

I wonder what would happen if they had us vote a little differently.

Let's say instead of putting the candidates name on the ballot they had 10 issues.  You could choose which issues you believed in and they matched them with the candidate who supported those issues.

Could make things a whole lot better ....  You would either have fewer folks voting, a more informed electorate or people who were just guessing at what they thought their candidate stood for.

IIRC there was a site sort of like that during the early primaries -- you would select how you feel on the big issues and it would say which candidate represents most closely your views.

It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to set up with the electronic voting.  Wonder what the libs would think of a plan like that!  LOL

That's an Idea that sounds good but many times it's not necessarily the issue but how the issue is dealt with.
