With her figure, it's a great choice, on top of that it makes her the visual focal point of any speech she's giving much better than any menswear (or one of Hillary's pantsuits) could do.

Besides, you're not supposed to wear white shoes after Labor Day, white clothing is okay. White pants are...meh. But that's old school and like debk said, whie is considered year round. Just watch, all of the high fashion magazines will feature some designer who is doing "winter white" this year like every year.
