Happy Mooooooday Everybody!!!
« on: October 06, 2008, 07:04:10 AM »
And ain't it a glorious day?

Might hit 70 here today with rain forecast all day.

But the house will be quiet for about 7 whole hours.  :-)

I cracked open the HBO miniseries John Adams last night and wound up watching 3 episodes.  Holy catz is this thing great!  I need to read some biographies when we are all done with it becuase the central players have never been personalized for me before.

I am also morbidly curious what the market will do today.

We met the Otterhounds last night and while the dogs are fantastic and REALLY cool it might be a bust. They are hideously expensive and the breeder pool is small, waiting lists long and hideously expensive. 1,200 - 1,500 dollar price range. Which is just too much for a dog, sorry.

Monday.  Hope the rest of the day goes better than my morning has.

Nothing too exciting planned.  Might go look for shoes for my daughter again....yesterday was a bust....didn't find anything.  Then again, I might wait until tomorrow.  Who knows.

Baseball practice and dance tonight.  Yippee!

asdf must be using a Norwegian calendar or something.

I don't have a "Moday" on my calendar.

Sure you do, but only every 4 years.  On February 29, we have one Mo' day .

Oh joy.....

The other half has caught the cold/respiratory thing going around, started with it late Saturday night.

What is it with guys....they get a cold and it's a major catastrophe?

I'm hiding out in my office.....it's safer from the snarls emanating from the Sick One.  :whatever:

It's rainy and nasty here today.  It took me 45 minutes to get to work and I only live 14 miles away.  :(

I have a bit of work to do today.  I may stay busy this whole morning.

Okay, home from work.  As I now work in the produce department (and make more money there than as a cashier), I got first pick of the HONEY CRISP apples. :naughty:  2.99 a pound? :o These had BETTER be worth it!

Oh.... mah..... heavenly goodness!  :o I just grabbed one of them for a late night snack (bought 4 HUGE ones).  If they weren't so costly (from my budget standpoint), I'd buy more!  They are the right combo of sweet and tart, and are PERFECTLY crisp (their name definitely suits them).  Normally, I'm a Jonagold fanatic, but I have a new fall favorite now. :p

I love open book tests.

Yes I do as well, yet this wasn't.  It was 25 questions, 20 being short answer/essay and 1 T/F, 2 multiple choice and 2 fill in the blank.
