New from Maryland
« on: October 04, 2008, 07:50:29 PM »
From the land of radical liberals, there are many conservatives here, enough in the past to get a Republican Governor elected once every 20 or 30 years...but, I live in the western part of the state where we out number the nuts. And trust me there are some nuts out this way. If you want to have some fun with them, go to www.cumberlandchat.com and find out. The political section shows their true colors.

I am a true conservative, thus the name. I feel like I am very much of a centrist. But most people think I am a right wing nut case, so I must not be.

I hope to post more soon. I love Sarah Palin ( and her politics too ). I supported Fred Thompson to start with, so I think you'll understand who I am.  I am married with 2 boys. 1 grown, 1 not so grown.

Welcome, and no, supporting Fred does NOT make you a "right-wing nutcase".  Look at me--I supported him, and nobody here thinks I'm a nutcase.

Right guys?

Welcome from a Fred Head here!

I'm voting McCain/Palin but hoping that someday I'll be voting for Palin and someone else.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
