Worked today, got home a couple hours ago.  Put my dinner in the oven and forgot to turn the damn thing on.  :loser:

I'm having a beer as well.

Just popped open an ice cold Killian's to get a head start here before me and the wife go to the bar.

And yeah, it was cold here this morning. About 43 degrees. The kind of weather ya don't wanna go out on the patio to smoke wearing just a wifebeater and PJ bottoms to.

It was a little chilly here this morning.  Not enough to turn the heat on, but enough to make the change in weather noticeable.

I'm drinking a Coke!  :-)

Not sure if I'll have a beer tonight. I doubt it. I want to get up early and go for a run tomorrow morning.

Was wondering when the first pretty lady would show up. :)

Having some coffee right now.

We went out to a really nice German restaurant for dinner tonight and ate some snausage and pork listening to the Ompah band.

Pretty good time.

I lived through Ye Olde Birthday Party  today.  In the middle of it I took all the kids down to the fire house where they had a food drive going on.  You dropped off a load of food and they took you for a ride in one of the engine trucks with lights and sirens.

I am officially the coolest day EVAH! ;)

My daughter is at the Homecoming Dance right now.  :banghead:  I used to carry her around cradled in the palm of one hand. *sigh*

Home from work.  I got called by my boss to come into work at 3 pm rather than 9 am...meaning I missed out on the trip to see "An American Carol."  :bawl:

I'll go see it another time, but still, it would have been much more fun with friends and fellow CR's.

Right now, I'm eating cold pizza and drinking a beer.  ;)

I've been meaning to do a bratwurst for the last couple of years, but I always forget.  I don't like the peppered/heavily seasoned bratwurst and have no idea which brands to get.  I prefer a more beef-y taste, instead of those brats that taste more like breakfast sausages.

The best bratwurst I've had was in Switzerland, served on a hard roll.  They have the best food there.

There may be snow on the roof but there's still...

Now where the hell did I leave my pants and why is there a typewriter sticked under my damn T.V.?!?!?

Usingers if you can find them, or Klements, Tail Gate or even plain old Johnsonville are all good.

Boil them in three bottles of cheap bear with tons of onions cut up in it for a couple of hours, then grill them till they brown or brown them in the oven broiler.

That was my plan!  Lots of mustard, too.

IMO, brats boiled in beer just lose their flavor. I like to grill them over a slow heat. They always turn out scrumptious to me and my cadré. Served with Bavarian style kraut on a good bun, they can't be beat.......
