"There is no need to panic."

I believe that should be the essense of the response the Obama Campaign has to McCain's actions. It doesn't have to be in those words but something that evokes the idea of presidential calmness on the level of "... nothing to fear but fear itself" while simultaneously painting McCain as losing his cool.

Also, there is no need for the "spectacle" of two presidential candidates interrupting the serious work of the RESPONSIBLE committee members currently undertaking the crucial job of working on this issue.

If McCain returns to DC to take a leadership role in the congressional debate, while Barky is out campaigning and misses the bail-out vote, I think there will be plenty of reason for the 0bots to panic. I wonder if McCain has been conferring with Slick Willie about the best way to torpedo the imperious and oblivious Barky.  :loser:

I haven't been to NU for a while, but the last I was there he was going totally DU on that board.
That board was like reading DU or KOS.  Same posts.

I knew that he was never conservative but if you remember back when I was on it (I think I remember you were on it at the same time) he had his political persuasion as "Conservative" and all the conservatives use to bitch about it in the conservaitve only area.  He got all pissed off and he changed to "refuse to choose".

I think his last position was undecided or whatever their term was used for "I'm not willing to commit".  Then I think it became the cool thing to select "refuse to choose".

In any case his posts looked like they should have been on DU.

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

I will never grow weary of that YT. We were talking about the sync'ing process between two databases at work. And someone said, "What are you sync'ing?"

I died.  :rotf:
