Estranged former Yankee Roger Clemens was "heartbroken" when his former team left him out of Sunday night's Stadium-farewell festivities, which included a video montage honoring the Bronx Bombers' greatest pitchers - but not him, a relative told The Post yesterday.

Clemens was sitting at home in hurricane-ravaged Texas, in front of a battery-operated television on his living room couch, when the team delivered a final crushing blow to its former star.

Clutching wife Debbie's hand on one side and mother-in-law Jan Wild's on the other, Clemens tuned in to his final team's last home game hoping for some recognition for helping win two World Series titles, Wild said.

But that Rocket never launched.

When the team played the video celebrating its greatest players at every position, the steroid-scandal-scarred Clemens was nowhere to be seen.

"Debbie and I held his hand while we watched the game, and he was heartbroken," said Wild, 70. "Not mad. He still loves baseball and the Yankees, but it was sad what they did to him."

Roger CLemens did nothing wrong...

GH was not banned from either MLB or the US govenrment when he did it...

andy petitte & giambi were both honored & one of  both admited to using drugs, & even giambi admitted to using STEROIDS ..which is a felony & a breach of MLB rules...

clemens didn't break any laws or break any MLB rules...

but he did give numerous demorat congresscritters the finger...for that ,  he should've won a medal ...

but what else did clemens expect from a piece of garbage like steinbrenner ?

I don't know how old you are, but Roger Clemens is a total POS -- always has been, and always will be.

The juice king can kiss my lilly white ass.   I used to take delight in the fact that he will have to wear the Red Sox cap in the HOF, but now take even greater delight that the former-mr-first-ballot will never see the light of day of Cooperstown.

but one thing is for sure, juice or not, Clemens was a STUD pitcher....

Uh, not quite. 

I hold disdain for POS self-centered players such as Roger who has never been a team player a day in his life. 

Dan Duquette was quite right that Roger was a washed-up-past-his-prime-prima-donna when he showed him the door -- Roger spitting on his fans on the way out.     

He didn't leave for the Yankees.  He left for a *cough* "contender."

The soon to be juicing felon (perjury charges); scum bag who slept with minors; piece of garbage who pumped the mother of his children with juice so she wouldn't embarrass him on a magazine cover; deserves everything that he gets right now -- which is a criminal trial, unanswered phone calls, and washed up dreams of e-v-e-r entering the hall of fame.

You can go ahead and carry your pom-poms for him, but I will pass on your "everyone does it" defense.

I suggest you  just keep to watching pop warner sports formerlurker...

because  al lthat stuff you say roger clemens does, pails in comparison to what 25-75% of his comrads have done & do ....

if you're looking for heros, look to pop  warner...

cause most professional athletes put the S in scumbag if you actually analyze their personal lives &/or even professional ...
