Sorry Madame speaker, but I have no interest in "protecting people from losing their homes"

Latest is that Pelosi and house Democrats want to demand legislation as part of the bailout package to "protect people from losing their homes."

I say, if people took on bad loans they can't pay, then start looking for a place to rent. I rent and was responsible enough not to put myself into a financially untenable situation. Why should my tax dollars as a renter go to bail people out who made poor choices?

Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.

God alone suffices.

Fact of the matter is that those people put ZERO DOWN...NADA...NOTHING...so what are they losing?

ZERO....NADA...NOTHING

They have been renting the house.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
