Instead, they all stood there with that stupid smile on their faces or the press found every conceivable synonym for the word (and its derivatives) LIE. shading the truth, bending reality, prevarication, not-quite-entirely-the-case, misleading, less-than-truthful, and a thousand more it seemed. If you worked with anyone who did what he did and it was threatening to you and/or your job or family in some fashion, he would be dragged out behind the factory or office building and threatened with or actually having the living shit beaten out of him. And don’t start telling me that violence isn’t the answer. It’s all they actually are afraid of: they have lawyers and advocates who can parry your every litigious thrust. If they believe that they’re gonna have multiple visits to the ER or the dentist, suddenly they’re not so crazy-brave.

This last twelve years have proven catastrophic for the Nation. It’s going to take a decade if we are fortunate to begin to repair the damage if it’s even possible to do so. I wholly blame the media who, like any abused individual who permits and excuses the horrors, have suffered the consequences. When the history of journalism is written, these gigantic assholes will be disgraced as anomalies. There will be thousands of rationalizations written to explain their chickenshit behavior but only one word is required: YELLOW.

The point seems to be, as it often is with DU, for the MSM to... continue what they've always done?

Wasn't it the MSM claimed to have tabulated how many times Trump had lied, and it was a number in the thousands? Wasn't it the MSM that constantly "fact-checked" Trump, sometimes in real time?

The fact is, the MSM couldn't have gone any harder against Trump and his associates. I would think that the White House Press Secretary would be one of the easiest to go after and get rid of, because they are easy to replace. The President need only name a new one.
