Most likely, the signer was a federal magistrate judge in the District of Columbia. He or she would have been hired by the heavily-Democratic cohort of judges in the district. That magistrate judge has placed his or her career on the line in signing that warrant. To gain that signature, the judge would have to be convinced that probable cause exists that a federal crime was committed.
As a matter of course, that warrant would have been filed under seal. So, there’s no need to speculate on what this is all about, it has been recorded in the affidavit.
1. If I understand this correctly, the warrant being under seal is normal process.
2. The magistrate judges are all Dems (Trump also pointed this out and gave their four names).
3. The above being the case, the pertinent judge would have been especially diligent about the quantity, quality, and relevance of the evidence supporting the purpose of the search.
4. Progs being what they are, even if what was seized prove criminal wrongdoing - regardless of by whom - whichever judged signed the warrant will be the target of Dem retaliation if they ever get the power to do so.

The application for a warrant has to state that there is probable cause to believe that material evidence of a crime is at the place to be searched, but this wouldn't be the first time that one of the regime's goons lied on a search warrant application.
