Did Biden’s DOJ Reclassify Documents to Build a Case Against Trump?

https://pjmedia.com/catherinesalgado/2026/10/11/did-biden-doj-reclassify-documents-to-peg-trump-via-obama-russiagate-attack-dog-n4958203

Quote
Barack Obama’s Russiagate attack dog, Lisa Monaco, was involved in fabricating the case against Donald Trump during the Biden administration ahead of the infamous Mar-a-Lago raid. One writer claims Obama holdouts reclassified documents Trump had declassified in order to accuse him under false pretenses.

Earlier this month, my colleague Robert Spencer wrote about how top officials at the FBI and Department of Justice under Joe Biden were signing off on the orders for the witch hunt against Trump. One of the most ridiculous aspects of the case was the fact that Jack Smith et al. accused Trump of mishandling classified documents, even though he had declassified the ones he took with him to Florida. An extra shade of irony came from the fact that Joe Biden actually did mishandle classified documents and store them in multiple places, including his garage, for which he never faced consequences.

But a recent report indicates that the DOJ was secretively claiming certain documents that Trump had taken were now reclassified specifically so that they could justify the charges against him.

To reclassify the documents after Trump had already taken them to Florida was an obviously partisan and desperate move, but that was pretty much the modus operandi of the Biden DOJ.

At this point this appears to be annoymorously sourced, so taking it with a block of salt you think appropriate would be appropriate.

Three South Alabama students arrested for alleged threats ahead of Trump rally

https://www.campusreform.org/article/three-south-alabama-students-arrested-alleged-threats-ahead-trump-rally/30725

Quote
Federal authorities arrested three University of South Alabama students after investigators discovered separate social media posts that allegedly threatened President Donald Trump days before his Oct. 2 appearance on campus.

Amare Jemal Woods, Cameron Lamark Lewis, and Kayla Leaann Smith were taken into custody Oct. 2, the same day Trump appeared at the university’s Mitchell Center in Mobile, Alabama.

The FBI confirmed three arrests involving alleged threatening communications toward the president. The agency worked with the Secret Service, U.S. Attorney’s Office, university police, and local authorities.

The students allegedly made the posts independently on TikTok and X.

Woods, an 18-year-old aerospace engineering freshman, allegedly responded to a TikTok video about Trump’s visit by suggesting that the president should die.

Lewis, a biology student, allegedly posted two threatening messages on X. One reportedly invoked Utah Valley University, where conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated in September 2025, while another referenced the fatal shooting of rapper Mikquale Cooper.

Smith, an elementary education student, allegedly responded to another video about Trump’s visit with language suggesting there was a single opportunity to act. She also allegedly shared an image depicting a person appearing to imitate holding a firearm.

I'd not heard of Mikquale Cooper, unsurprisingly. This Chicago Sun-Times article suggests that he had immersed himself - and probably participated in - a culture of violence and murder, https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2026/09/13/homicide-fuller-park . The article doesn't go there, but I suspect his killers were not white. How his shooting relates to Trump, I do not get.

Mamdani snubs Brooklyn Columbus Day Parade, ghosts Queens organizers: ‘slap in the face’

https://nypost.com/2026/10/10/us-news/mamdani-snubs-brooklyn-columbus-day-parade-ghosts-queens-organizers/

Quote
Mayor Zohran Mamdani slapped New York’s Italian American community in the face again Saturday — snubbing Brooklyn’s annual Columbus Day Parade and ghosting organizers of a similar event in Queens.

Members of the Federation of Italian American Organizations of Brooklyn, which organizes the parade along 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst honoring the famed but controversial explorer, said the Mayor’s Office confirmed on Thursday that Mamdani declined their invitation sent out weeks earlier.

But at least Brooklyn’s organizers got an answer.

Organizers of the annual Queens Columbus Day Parade in Astoria said the mayor never responded to an invitation to attend their parade — leaving them hanging as it concluded Saturday near the Columbus statue by Astoria Boulevard, the same monument Mamdani famously flipped the bird to in 2020.

Is this a surprise? Did previous NYC mayors show their nose at previous years' parades. Christopher Columbus has been demonized among Libs and Progs for decades.

Maryland Man Indicted in $100M COVID Test Fraud Scheme

https://townhall.com/news/scott-mcclallen/2026/10/10/maryland-man-indicted-in-100-million-covid-test-fraud-scheme-n2684468

Quote
A federal grand jury indicted a Maryland man on Friday in connection with a COVID-19 healthcare fraud scam.

Marc Aaron Potash, 57, of Rockville, is charged with conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud and seven counts of healthcare fraud. The charges stem from Potash submitting false and fraudulent claims to Medicare, Medicaid, the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP), and other insurers for at-home, self-administered COVID-19 tests. Potash is also charged with five counts of conducting transactions in criminally derived proceeds. This prosecution is part of the Trump Administration’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud.

According to the indictment, between January 2022 and May 2026, Potash allegedly conspired with others to personally enrich himself and maximize the financial success of Tiero, LLC, a company located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Through the conspiracy, Potash, Tiero’s founder and chief executive officer, and his co-conspirators schemed to obtain money through false and fraudulent representations to insurers.

The indictment further alleges that as part of the healthcare fraud scheme, Potash and his co-conspirators sent false emails, letters, and paperwork to the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) to obtain a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certification for Tiero. As part of the conspiracy, Potash and his co-conspirators submitted documents that falsely portrayed Tiero’s medical providers performing on-site COVID-19 testing at the company’s purported lab.  The co-conspirators then used Tiero’s CLIA license to submit fraudulent claims to insurers that listed false dates of service, a fake place of service, and a phony rendering provider for COVID-19 tests that would have been administered or analyzed by a provider at Tiero.

Remind me, who was POTUS in 2022 when this scam began.

As a side note, I think someone at Townhall used a picture of Covid testing in China. I have never seen a Covid test that swabs the throat, not in the hospital, a clinic, or a home test. The tests used in the US that I've seen all swap the nostrils.

SF mayor admits city ‘lost its way’ by embracing ultra-left ideology

https://nypost.com/2026/10/10/us-news/san-francisco-mayor-daniel-lurie-blames-progressive-politics-for-citys-decline/

Quote
San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie blamed the city’s progressive politics for fueling its homelessness, drug overdose and business exodus crises, admitting in a new interview that the city had “lost its way.”

Lurie, who has made restoring San Francisco’s battered public image a priority since taking office, told CNN’s Dana Bash that his administration is taking a more hard-nosed approach to crime while working to make the city friendlier to businesses.

But Bash pressed the mayor on why San Francisco needed a turnaround in the first place — prompting a blunt admission about the city’s far-left reputation.

“We lost our way as a city. We were focused on the wrong things and today we’re focused on common sense,” he said.

“I mean, we got so, entrapped in our progressive values and talking about progressivism that, we weren’t taking stock of what was happening on our streets,” he added.

I have a very low opinion of MSM "reporters" awareness of reality, but does Dana Bash really not know of SF's decades-long problems with aggressive panhandlers, bumcrap in gutters and on sidewalks, druggies leaving used needles in parks and on sidewalks, smash-and-grab thefts from cars and shoplifters sweeping shelves clean, causing nearly 2 dozen Walgreens drugstores and several grocery stores to close, and bums camping on sidewalks and blocking businesses' entrances?
